About Monday Lotto

Monday Lotto (Gold Lotto Monday in QLD) draws every Monday at 8:30 PM AEST with a guaranteed $1 million Division 1 prize each week. Same 6/45 format as Saturday Lotto, so if you know one you know the other. The jackpot doesn't roll over — it's $1 million every Monday, win or lose. At $0.65 a game, it's one of the cheapest entries going.

How to Play

Pick 6 numbers from 1 to 45 per game, or QuickPick for random numbers. Games cost $0.65 each. Draw works the same as Saturday Lotto — 6 winning numbers plus 2 supplementaries from a barrel of 45. Match all 6 for Division 1. Tickets available at any outlet or online through The Lott. Sales close around 7:25 PM AEST on Mondays.

Number Selection

  • Select 6 main numbers from 1 to 45
  • 2 supplementary numbers are drawn automatically

Odds and Prize Divisions

Same structure as Saturday Lotto: Division 1 is 1 in 8,145,060, Division 2 is 1 in 678,755, all the way down to about 1 in 85 for any prize. The $1 million prize is guaranteed and doesn't jackpot. If multiple people win Division 1, they split the pool evenly.

Tips for Playing Monday Lotto

Monday Lotto suits players who want a reliable weekly shot without the huge jackpot hype. You know it's $1 million every time. At $0.65 a game, it's hard to beat on value. Some players like to run the same numbers week after week — it doesn't change the maths, but plenty of winners have done it that way.

Where to Buy Monday Lotto Tickets

Monday Lotto tickets are available at authorised lottery outlets across Australia, including newsagents and selected retail stores. You can also purchase tickets online through The Lott official website (thelott.com) or via The Lott mobile app. Ticket sales typically close at approximately 7:25 PM AEST on draw nights. For online purchases, you will need to create a free account and be a resident of Australia.

Claiming Monday Lotto Prizes

Prize claiming procedures vary by state and prize amount. Prizes up to $1,500 can be claimed at any lottery outlet. Larger prizes may need to be claimed at a lottery office or through a bank transfer. If you purchased your ticket online through The Lott, prizes up to $1,500 are automatically deposited into your account. Larger prizes will require identity verification. You typically have up to 6 years from the draw date to claim your prize, depending on the state.
